Chuck Steele is a 1992 graduate of the West Virginia University College of Law. Following graduation, he passed three separate state bar examinations (NC, SC, and WV). Before coming home,Chuck practiced law with the firm of Cozen O'Connor in Charlotte, NC. He is currently a member of the West Virginia State Bar, and an inactive member of the North Carolina and South Carolina Bars. He is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in West Virginia. Chuck is a skilled trial lawyer who has tried in excess of 65 jury trials to verdict, representing both plaintiffs and defendants.  He is an accomplished mediator who regularly help parties resolve their disputes, and has routinely lectured in conjunction with the State Bar's mediation training.

Chuck has maintained an active mediation practice for the past fifteen (15) years -- having mediated in excess of 500 cases. His experience from a plaintiff and defense perspective equips him with the know-how to facilitate meaningful and productive settlement discussions.  Chuck is available to travel to any area of the state (and beyond) for mediations.  He also regularly utilizes ZOOM for purposes of conducting mediations.
